3G principle

Participant of our trade fair duo Heim+Handwerk / FOOD & LIFE 2021 have to meat on of the 3G criteria (i.e. vaccinated, recovered, tested):

  • Tested

As proof accepted are: 

  • PCR- or PoC-PCR tests, performed not more than 48 hours prior
  • certified PoC antigen tests, performed not more than 24 hours prior.

Come to the fair already with your negative test result to avoid accumulations and waiting times!


  • Vaccinated / Recovered

Please carry your vaccination certificate or proof of recovery with you during your visit to the fair, as random checks are possible. 

Tickets & vouchers

For the trade fair duo Heim+Handwerk / FOOD & LIFE 2021 only personalised online tickets are available in the online ticket shop. You can choose between a full-day or afternoon ticket for a trade fair day of your choice. The number of visitors is distributed accordingly.

To activate your ticket for the visit after purchase, you will need to provide 3G proof:

Vaccinated and recovered persons can conveniently have their vaccination certificates verified online from November 2021: simply upload the QR code and unlock the ticket. (Instructions are available in the online ticket shop).

Negative tests must be verified on site, only then will the ticket be activated.

Obligation to wear a face mask

In principle, all visitors must wear a (surgical) face mask on the entire exhibition grounds. The face mask may be removed in the following situations:

  • in all outdoor areas 
  • at fixed seating or standing places, provided that a minimum distance of 1.50 m is maintained
  • when seated at a table in trade fair catering at designated catering areas at the stand
  • when services are used that do not permit the wearing of a face mask. 

Social distancing

All participants of the fair are requested to keep a minimum distance of 1.50 m from other persons wherever possible.

► Contactless access control through: 

  • the exclusive sale of online tickets (note: no cashier tickets are available on site!)
  • contactless scanning of the QR code on the tickets 

(Please bring your ticket as a printed PDF, as a mobile ticket or in the wallet of your mobile phone.)

► Sufficient hand washing and disinfection facilities throughout the exhibition grounds.

► Regular cleaning of door handles, handrails and the sanitary facilities as well as other surfaces, e.g. at information counters and counters.

► Generous stand planning incl. generously planned loitering and catering areas as well as extra-wide aisles in the exhibition halls.

► Floor markings at known junctions (e.g. entrance area) to prevent accumulations and group formation.

► Good ventilation of the indoor areas through Messe München's modern ventilation system as well as regular fresh air supply.

Our exhibitors and service providers, including trade fair catering, have also committed themselves to our hygiene and infection control concept.
