OBERBAYERISCHER FÖRDERPREIS FÜR ANGEWANDTE KUNST
The Upper Bavarian Award for Applied Arts honours special works of art by young artists in the fields of jewellery, utensils, ceramics, wood, glass, textiles, paper, metal, stone and plastic.
2023 winners were Eduardo Palomares (1st place), Antonia Weber (2nd place) and Camilla Prey (3rd place).
HOLZ AUS BAYERN
The "Wood from Bavaria" competition, to which the Fachverband Schreinerhandwerk Bayern (FSH Bayern) in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (StMELF) invites all Bavarian guild carpenters every year, focuses on local wood as the main material. The selected exhibits, made exclusively from local wood, are presented in 2023 under the motto "Flexible Furniture".
2023 award went to: Möbelwerkstätte Krembs, Schreinerei Deinhart and Schreinerei Stettmer.
DIE GUTE FORM
Bavaria's most outstanding and innovative journeyman's pieces are exhibited at the state competition "Die Gute Form". These impressive pieces, which were previously honoured at guild level, impressively demonstrate the innovative power and creativity of the carpentry trade.
