LIVE OUT YOUR CREATIVITY ON THE DIY AREA

At Heim+Handwerk, you can let your imagination run wild and get creative yourself. The DIY area awaits you in Hall A5, where you can try out a wide variety of activities. Whether it's acrylic painting, printing bags, folding origami or personalising your own cutting board - here you can immerse yourself in a new world.  

Visitors of all ages are invited to participate in the workshops. Below you will find a selection of the numerous workshops that you can attend on the area. 

TEXTILE DYEING WORKSHOP

In this workshop, you can design your own jute bag or backpack. Whether playful or minimalist. Whether for shopping or for your favourite hobby. Everything is possible.

ORIGAMI CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

In a one-hour Origami workshop, you can learn how to fold origami stars and a Christmas tree to decorate your home for Christmas! 

We will be using fine Italian Carta Varese and Japanese Satogami paper.

MAKE A SOLID WOOD CHOPPING BOARD

You will receive a brief introduction to the material solid wood and processing techniques by hand, so that you can then devote yourself entirely to your project. You will also gain exclusive insights from a furniture maker into the topic of sustainability in the timber industry.
