HOME TRENDS IN THE PLANHAUS

Kitchen, living room, home office or dining area: visitors were able to find inspiration for a trendy home in the room concept of the Planhaus. The professionals on site provide support for input and ideas.

On the lifestyle stage in Hall B6.440, exhibitors from Heim+Handwerk and Greenstyle presented themselves. An attention-grabbing stage with an inspiring fashion show awaited you.

DIY AREA

Do you want to finally give something homemade for Christmas? Here you were able to find the time – and the instructions for it. Visitors could immortalise themselves in self-created Christmas tree decorations or painted bags.

PLANwerk

Did you want to bring a breath of fresh air into your home but are unsure of your options? Interior design and architecture students, along with lecturers from Coburg University of Applied Sciences, have been helping registered visitors with new ideas.

START-UP AREA

A platform for newcomers to the furniture industry: visitors to the start-up area experienced products away from the mainstream. Sustainable, durable, manufactured and unusual – everyone found an eye-catcher among the unique pieces.

Since 2010, the Upper Bavarian district has been awarding the Förderpreis für angewandte Kunst to honour young designers under the age of 35 for their outstanding achievements.

GREENSTYLE – DIVERSE AND FAIR

Greenstyle stands for sustainable fashion by independent designers. Innovative materials, regional production or forward-looking concepts: the labels showed how diverse fair fashion can be, away from mass-produced and fast fashion.

INDEPENDENT ENERGY CONSULTING

Visitors were able to get advice on energy from independent service providers. In the energy consulting forum, they could also listen to lectures and presentations on the topic and exchange ideas with experts.

NATURE GARDEN

In the natural garden, many natural materials were used in all areas of the garden. Naturally grown tree poles for the pergola, tree trunks in the planting, as well as a ball track made of tree poles found their place alongside many shrubs, perennials and ground covers from the city's own tree nursery. The garden was built by the trainees themselves and the ball track was creatively designed by them, inviting young and old to linger.
